What a great week we had here last week at Grand Harbor. Monday, May 8th we hosted the Symetra Tour Juniors Clinic for Greenwood area schools. Tommy Pendley along with players on the Symetra Tour conducted the clinic. Thank you to our wonderful Grand Harbor Members that volunteered to make this event a success. Thursday 9 & Dine continued, as over 15 couples played 9 holes and then dined to a casual “Philly” steak or chicken meal. Weekend dining was complimented by our weekend special, Pan Roasted North Carolina Tilefish. Another highlight of the weekend was our annual “Blessing of the Fleet.” The sun is shining and that means it’s time to take your boats out on the water. Which also means some struggles with docking some boats as well 🙂 Check out the gallery below as Reverend Valerie Mireb of St. Paul’s Methodist Church in Ninety Six assisted with the blessing.
We can’t talk about last week without highlighting our outstanding Mother’s Day Brunch. We served over 50 mothers and guests. Again we say Happy Mother’s Day to all. And a huge thank you to our Food and Beverage staff for a great job on such a wonderful meal.
This week we look forward to our weekly events, Euchre Night, Mahjong, MGA play(Tuesday and Thursday), LPGA play(Wednesday), 9 & Dine and several other events. This weekend we are excited to hold our Ladies-Member Guest Tournament. Practice round on Friday and tournament play begins, Saturday morning at 9AM.
Members don’t forget to get your tickets for the Memorial Day Bash and also sign up for our “6-6-6” Tournament(Format changes every 6 holes) on May 27th now in the Pro Shop!
