It’s September folks! And we have such a great month planned here at Grand Harbor. We’ve already kicked things off last week with a wonderful Labor Day Celebration and a great turnout for our Member Meet and Greet. Be sure to take a look at the gallery below to view some of the good times shared at our Meet and Greet.

This week we will continue making memories as we begin our Guest Bartender nights. Guest Bartender is one of our highlight events of the Fall. One Tuesday out of each of the last four months of the year our community comes together for two reasons; to HAVE FUN and RAISE MONEY TO HELP THOSE FAMILIES IN OUR NINETY SIX COMMUNITY THAT NEED HELP DURING THE CHRISTMAS SEASON. This event is organized by Grand Harbor Members, John and Lynda Sullivan, who stated that over the past 3 years, “this community has been unbelievably generous, contributing over $22,000 that has benefited 18 families consisting of 43 adults and 112 children.” We look forward to continuing such a great event and helping families in our Ninety Six Community as our first Guest Bartender is tonight from 5:30pm to 7:30pm.

Although we have events to support our local community, the support for others doesn’t stop there. With the recent devastation of Hurricane Harvey throughout Texas, a group of Grand Harbor Ladies came together at the Clubhouse to make blankets to ship to Houston on a convoy that left out of Greenwood. (Take a look at these ladies in action in the above gallery.) We would like to thank all the ladies and families here at Grand Harbor that have shown support to our nation in these heartbreaking times. We send our love and prayers to everyone affected by Hurricane Harvey and Hurricane Irma.
