It’s officially Spring!! The weather is warmer and golf season is here. The month of March has flown by but we’ve had some exciting events. We kicked off the spring with some highlight events, such as our first 9 & Dine(couples golf) of the year, our Mike O’Shea St. Patty’s Day Tournament, our Spring Cookout and a very interesting Neighborhood Photo Scavenger Hunt. Golf events have started off strong with 24 couples participating in our first 9 & Dine and over 70 players in our Mike O’Shea St. Patty’s Day Tournament. We look forward to April as our very own Patriot Masters event will take place April 7th. We will also be hosting the Women’s and Men’s Big South Golf Championships next month. Hosting the Big South Conference Golf Championships is an honor and our members play a very important part in making all teams feel welcomed to the community for the week. Regular MGA & LGA play have had their share of rainy days for the season and are now getting in the swing of things weekly.

We have packed the months with many social events for the year. This past month, we held Trivia Night, Italian Night, our weekly card games, a cookout at the Fitness & Tennis Center and a Photo Scavenger Hunt. Our very first Photo Scavenger Hunt was quite entertaining with teams having to get photos of them posing like trees, a human pyramid on the greenest lawn, on a slide, with a cute kid and so much more. Our members and even an employee team had a blast. We are excited for the months to come. We have a wonderful Easter brunch planned by our Food & Beverage Staff as well as several other events.
